The Hatch 2.0.1 and whats coming next…

2.0.1

The update that was just released yesteday was a small update.  There was a strange issue with the App Store and the versioning, it showed version 1.1.2, while the actual app version was 2.0; so I pushed an update to 2.0.1 to get the numbering correct.  I added a couple more rivers and two more bugs to the database.

Whats next:

I’m working on gathering info for rivers in Wisconsin, North Carolina, Tennessee and a few other East Coast states for the next update.

I am also working on gathering some more photo’s for the flies, as that is a huge request right now.  If any users out there would like to see their photo’s of bugs in The Hatch please contact me or post a comment!

Love the idea, but probably won’t purchase until Tenn and NC are added. Could you add a page/post that keeps a running list of rivers currently in the app?

      Hey Jacob,

I will work on getting a running list of the states/rivers that are included. Thanks for the idea.

This is a great app… any chance there will be a version compatible with the Android OS?

It’s certainly something I’d love to do. If I can drum up some spare time I’d like to start exploring developing it on the Android.
